Medibank Melbourne Marathon
The date you’ve been waiting for has been set – the 2017 Medibank Melbourne Marathon Festival will be held on Sunday 15th October, 2017.
With over 30,000 participants once again expected to take part, the Festival is Melbourne’s premier running event.

RACE PACK: AUSTRALIAN COMPETITORS
If you register before 11:59pm Friday June 30th, your race pack will be sent to you, at the address provided. If you register from 12:00am Saturday July 1st, you will be required to collect your Race Pack from the Race Week Office.
RACE PACK: INTERNATIONAL COMPETITORS
No race packs will be sent to international addresses. If you do not provide an Australian postal address on your registration form, you will be required to collect your Race Pack from the Race Week Office. SLOW COURSE: INFORMATION FOR 5+HR MARATHON RUNNERS
The Melbourne Marathon has a course redirection for entrants who are running at slower than 5hr marathon pace. At the 22km mark of the Marathon (approx. 9:40am), slower runners will be redirected into Fitzroy St from Beaconsfield Parade. Read more [...]

ACTIVE FEET RUNNERS EXPO
The 2017 Medibank Melbourne Marathon Festival will once again host the Active Feet Runners Expo on the external concourse of the MCG between Gates 1 and 2.

1° = $20,000
2° = $7,000
3° = $4,000
4° = $2,000
5° = $1,000
BONUS PRIZE POOL #1
$20,000 will be awarded to both the 1st Male and 1st Female if they break the Melbourne Marathon Records of Sub 2:10:47 (Male) and Sub 2:26:05 (Female). If Prize Pool #1 is collected, the competitor will NOT collect Prize Pool #3
BONUS PRIZE POOL #2
$3,000 will be awarded to any Male or Female runner who places from 2nd to 5th place who runs Sub 2:11:00 (Male) and Sub 2:30:00 (Female). If Prize Pool #2 is collected, the competitor will NOT collect Prize Pool #3
BONUS PRIZE POOL #3
$1,500 will be awarded to any Male or Female runner who places from 1st to 5th place and runs Sub 2:12:00 (Male) and Sub 2:32:00 (Female)
